Because I Have Nothing Better to Do...

And neither do you.

He He.

On a more serious note. Mitchell is so sick, our car won't start, we have to wash the nursery cups again, Mitchell ruined an ornament, my house is a mess, I can't cook a roast in a crock pot, we're almost out of toilet paper, Mike got the wrong kind of toothpaste, and there isn't any ice cream anywhere. Or cottage chesse (I ate the whole container in less than 12 hours....pathetic. For some reason cottage cheese tastes just as good as ice cream. to me. right now.)

But I did make brownies.

I decided to send Christmas cards this year. And then decided I didn't want to be in the picture. But that means trying to get Mitch to look at the camera and smile simultaneously, which is tricky. Especially since my camera takes 10 years to take a picture if the flash is not on. Lame. Lame lame lame!!

Take one.

Take two.

Take three.

Take four.

Take fifty-five.

Okay, so they're all cute. We couldn't decide.

He's been adorable though, especially as of lately, so I'm not complaining. Though his latest thing, is destroying everything in sight. This is done while screaming (screaming!) "DIE! DIE! DIE!" No, I doubt he's really saying that....nursery's not that bad. and neither are we. But it sounds like it. And it's easy to believe since he's destroying things. (he even does this after I've swept the floor into a nice little pile. He can be so quiet while waiting for his prey)

Oh, and Thanksgiving was good. Mitchell stuck his nose up at everything, as usual. Torture! Surprisingly, and wonderfully so, he ate the left overs the next day. He loved the cranberry sauce and sweet potatoes and dark turkey. And still won't eat mashed potatoes or stuffing. But sweet potatoes are vegetables! So I was thrilled, and bought all of Thanksgiving dinner again. We've tried sweet potato fries (success!) regular potato fries (fail) carrots (fail) marshmellows (fail) brownies (success!) I'm going to make up the giant turkey we bought, and freeze it. Also I started buying baby food and sneaking it in his peanut butter and spaghetti favorites. He doesn't notice...much. I don't know how much longer I can keep this up.

Annnnyway. If anyone has any clever vegetables that picky children like......

And there. 2 posts in November. Barely.

Thanksgiving...ness.

Well, to start off, I haven't had a space bar for a week. Becaussssse.... Mitch, out of nowhere, reached his little destructive hand out, whilst on my lap looking at the more innocent times of his life, grabbed it, yanked it off, and....laughed.

Techonology has come along way, my brain doesn't care to ride on up with it, so... I couldn't figure out how to put it back on, and I had to drive to best buy to get full use out of our warrenty.

Which, they didn't even check. The guy just laughed at me and put it on within 2 seconds. A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. I was glad it didn't have to be sent in somewhere, to some genius who only lives in Ireland or something.

Life, is mucho easier with a space bar. It's one of those things you take for granted.

So, my little, darling, menace is usually up to no good. And most, everyday, he'll scream "side! side" (secret code for "outside") while reaching for the front door. Which has to be dead bolted to avoid random runaways.

Usually I comply at least once a day. He's so dang cute outside, the mom in me comes out and I want to capture it for always!

With no success. WHY won't he look at the camera? Stinky pete.

Also, he found the crackers. And learned that if you stomp on them, they turn into a million pieces. Naturally, the camera moments come before the cleaning part. (And I had just mopped it)

For family night, we made thankful turkeys. And they turned out lovely. Here's what we're thankful for!:

Mitchell:
-Dogs
-Outside
-Mom
-Dad
-Binky
-My Teddy Bear
-Church Nursery (Toy and food part only)
-Kisses.

Me:
-Mikey Poo
-Mitchell
-The Gospel
(And then.... Uh....crap.... So Mike suggested the in-laws, ha, I do love them. )
-My In-laws
(Then I guess I like my family)
-My family
-Naptime
-The Temple
-Date Night

Mike:
-Osu Football
-The Wife
-The Kid
-Job
(uhhhh)
-Mitchell's Binky (yeah, Mike, stop trying to wing him, then I'll believe you)

So I taped Mitchells and my own to the back door, and just coincidentally put mine above Mitchells.

Mike states that he rules the house. And put his above us all.

So then, of course, I had to do something, and placed his at the bottom of the totem pole.

We've been playing mind games with each other ever since.

This is what they look like now....

So, as you can see, my turkey kicked Mikes in the shins, told him to stop trying to take over, and he better behave or else he's going in the garbage.

I win. And he hasn't dared to move it.
